General aftercare for all services
For the first 24 to 48 hours after most beauty or skin-related services:
- Keep the treated area clean
- Avoid touching the area with unwashed hands
- Avoid heavy sweating
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and pools
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Avoid tanning beds
- Avoid harsh skincare products on the treated area
- Avoid exfoliants, acids, retinoids, scrubs, and peels unless approved by your artist
- Avoid makeup on freshly treated or irritated skin unless your artist says it is safe
- Do not pick, scratch, rub, or peel the treated area
Healing and results vary from person to person. Your skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, previous procedures, and natural healing response can all affect the final result.
Permanent makeup aftercare

What to expect:
- The color may look darker at first
- Mild swelling or tenderness may occur
- Flaking or dryness may appear during healing
- The color may soften or look lighter before it settles
- Some unevenness during healing is normal
- Final results are usually evaluated after the skin has fully healed
Do not judge the final result too early. Permanent makeup often needs a perfection visit or touch-up after the initial healing period.

Important. If you have a history of cold sores, fever blisters, or herpes simplex outbreaks, lip procedures may trigger an outbreak. Speak with a qualified healthcare provider before your appointment about whether preventive medication is appropriate.
What to expect:
- Lips may look bright or intense at first
- Mild swelling or tenderness may occur
- Dryness and flaking are common
- Color may fade significantly during healing

- Color may appear warmer, darker, lighter, or uneven during healing
- The treated area may go through visible healing stages

- Multiple sessions may be needed for best blending
Paramedical work is highly individual. Scar tissue, stretch marks, and reconstructed skin can retain pigment differently than untreated skin.

- Avoid harsh clarifying shampoos unless instructed
- Avoid excessive heat styling for the first few days
- Use heat protection when styling
- Avoid tight hairstyles immediately after treatment
- Use recommended masks, conditioners, or leave-in products to maintain results
Treatment longevity depends on hair condition, washing frequency, home care, heat styling, water quality, and product use.
